Oro-Medonte Township

Oro-Medonte is the result of an amalgamation of the former Oro and Medonte Townships so it's quite large. It basically fills the space between Orillia and Barrie from Lake Simcoe up to Highway 12 and Highway 400. It includes some of the most picturesque rolling hills in Ontario, lovely waterfront homes and the ever-popular Horseshoe Valley.

The waterfront properties are some of the best you'll find as they are on Lake Simcoe, are protected from heavy traffic and are just the right distance from Highway 11 - close enough to be easily accessible but far enough to be free from highway noise.

If waterfront isn't your thing there's always Horseshoe Valley or Moonstone. Here you can find anything from condos to luxurious ski chalets. There's plenty to do winter and summer with many activities including skiing, golfing, cycling and hiking available at your doorstep.
